95% of the young people that attended last years successful 'Young People and Your Democracy 'event at the Northern Ireland Assembly were more likely to register to vote after having attended the event.
This was a very positive result. The same event is to run this year , in partnership with the Northern Ireland Youth Forum on the 31st January 2008
Any groups or individual young people who are outside of formal education and think they would like to be invited to this event please inform David Clarke Programmes Coordinator. David will then send the necessary booking forms ect.The Coordinator will be able to put you in touch and help to pay for all travel costs for the young people to attend the event in order to remove the financial barrier that stops many young people taking part.
